Leather Chairs - AR-CHR-03 Leather Side Chair
My 20 years of hunting Antiques throughout Peru, Bolivia, and Ecuador was an amazing journey into the past of Spain's Conquistadors and the following two centuries of Spanish Colonial Arts development. Starting in 1989, my guide and I traveled to as many colonial cities, pueblos & haciendas possible, in search of the next Spanish Colonial treasure. The thousands of carved Doors, Furniture, Carved Frames & architectural pieces we acquired and restored, lead to my deep appreciation of the uniqueness & beauty of each piece. In Colonial times there were no factories, lights, electricity or machinery, only the skill and talent of these Artisans. Carvers with their own set of knives and carving style. Wood Turners creating new shapes for legs, feet and columns. The Blacksmith hand forging locks, pulls and handles. The time and effort that it must of taken to have handcrafted each piece.
Beautifully carved small Dining Table with 4 Chairs in Spanish Style home in Texas.

Randall CookIt has been 9 years since hanging up my Antique Hunter's hat and leaving Peru. I wanted to be closer to the USA but needed to be where I could continue to work with talented Carvers & skilled Maestros in reproducing Spanish Colonial Doors, Furniture and Cabinets. So I found my ideal location in Guadalajara, Mexico where I continue servicing my USA clients with shorter lead times, cheaper shipping costs & a broader array of woods unavailable in Peru.
